You can move photos from one Event to another by dragging them or by cutting and pasting them. You can also move flagged photos from their respective Events into a different Event.
To move photos by dragging:
Click to select Photos in the Source list.
In the iPhoto menu, choose View > Event Titles.
Click to select Events in the Source list.

Select two Events: the one you want to move photos from and the one you want to move those photos to.
Tip: Drag your pointer to enclose two Events that are next to one another. To select two Events that aren’t adjacent, click the first Event to select it, and then hold down the Command key as you click the second Event.

Double-click one of the Events.
Both Events open. The photos they contain appear in the window below their Event titles.
Select the photos you want to move, and drag them to the Event you want to add them to.
To move photos by cutting and pasting:

Select the photos you want to move.
Tip: To select multiple photos that aren’t next to one another, hold down the Command key as you click each photo.
Choose Edit > Cut (or press Command-X). (If you’re in full-screen view, move your pointer to the top of the screen to make the menu bar appear.)
Select the Event you want to move the photos to, and choose Edit > Paste (or press Command-V).
To move flagged photos:
Select the Event you want to add your flagged photos to. (For more information about flagging photos, see this topic: Flag photos.

Choose Events > Add Flagged Photos To Selected Event. (If you’re in full-screen view, move your pointer to the top of the screen to make the menu bar appear.)
The flagged photos are moved from the current Event to the Event you selected.
