A page’s layout determines the number of photos on the card’s page. If you want to change the number of photo frames on a card page, change the card page's layout. Then you can add photos to the photo frames, zoom in or out on a photo, reposition a photo, and arrange photo frames.
To add a photo to a photo frame:

Click the Photos button in the toolbar.

To locate the photo, do one of the following:

Click the Photos button in the toolbar and locate the photo you want in the Photo pane.
Tip: If you can’t find the photo you want, add the photo to your card project using the instructions in the task below. (If you’re working in the iPhoto main window, you can also drag the photo into the project in the Source list.) After you add the photo to your project, the photo appears in the “All Photos in Project” and Unplaced Photos categories.
Locate the photo you want in a photo frame on the card page.

To add the photo to the photo frame, do one of the following:
To add a photo to an empty photo frame on a card page, drag the photo thumbnail from the Photo pane (or from another photo frame) to the empty photo frame.
To replace a photo on a card page, drag the new photo thumbnail on top of the existing photo. The new photo replaces the old photo.
To swap photos between frames, drag the photo from one frame to another frame.
To add a photo to your card project:
If you can’t locate a photo in the Photo pane, you need to add the photo to your card project.
Locate the photo in your photo library.
Select the photo.
Click the Add To button in the toolbar, and then choose Card from the pop-up menu.

Select the card that you want to add the photo to.
The photo appears in the “All Photos in Project” and Unplaced Photos categories in the card you selected.
To zoom in on a photo:
Select the photo that you want to zoom in on.

Drag the zoom slider that appears above the photo.
Drag the photo up, down, left, or right to reposition it in the photo frame.
To move a photo frame forward or backward on a card page:
Some card page layouts use overlapping photo frames. You can arrange overlapping photo frames by moving them forward and backward.
Press the Control key while you click a photo, and then choose “Move to Front” or “Send to Back” from the shortcut menu.
