After you’ve picked a calendar’s theme and layout, you can change the appearance of any text included on a calendar page by choosing different font options. You can also add text to any date on a calendar’s month page.
To format text on a calendar page:
Double-click the page that contains the text you want to format.
Click the text that you want to format.

Do one of the following:

Format the text using the basic text formatting tools that appear above the selected text.

Click the Options button in the toolbar, and then format the text using the text formatting tools in the Options pane.

To add text to a date on a calendar’s date cell:

Double-click the calendar’s month page that contains the date you want to add text to.
The page spread appears.

Click the date that you want to add text to.
A window appears, showing the date and text formatting tools.

Enter your text in the window.
To format the text, double-click the text to select it, and then apply formatting using the formatting tools at the bottom of the window.
To add caption text to a photo in a date cell:

Double-click the calendar’s month page that contains the date cell and photo you want to add caption text to.
The page spread appears.

Click the date cell that contains the photo that you want to add text to.
A window appears, showing the photo and other controls.
Choose a location for the caption from the Photo caption pop-up menu.
Enter your caption text in the text field.
To restore text to its default settings:

Double-click the calendar’s month page that contains the text you want to restore.
The page spread appears.

Click the Options button in the toolbar.
Click the text field, and then select the text that you want to restore.
In the Options pane, click the “Revert to Default” button.
If you see an alert (red triangle) while working on a calendar:
While working on a calendar, you may see a red triangle that contains an exclamation point. The alert means that the text doesn’t fit in the available space, either because the font is too large or the text uses too many characters.
To fix an alert, do one of the following:
Reduce the space the text takes by changing the text’s font, typeface, or size.
Edit the text so that it uses fewer words.
